I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
· Process month and end year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
· Prepare Cash Position Report and Bank Reconciliation Statement of all the company’s bank accounts (dollar & peso accounts).
· Prepare Inventory Report and Lapsing Schedule of all Fixed Assets.
· Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
· Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
· Coordinate and complete annual audits
· Review Paysheet Summary and process payroll in coordination with HR;
· Compute and prepare 13th-month pay and other employee benefits;
· Ensure that all collections are collected on time;
· Handle in BIR Tax audit of the Company in Budget preparation.
· Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
· Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
· Other duties, consistent with the role as required by the superior.
II. QUALIFICATIONS
· Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent;
· CPA license;
· SAP knowledge would be an advantage;
· With in-depth knowledge in BIR compliance, rules & regulations, and government mandatory contribution payment processing;
· People and analytical skills;
· Has proven working experience as an Accounting Manager or at least 3 years of supervisory experience in this field;
· Knowledgeable of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
· Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel, Word & Powerpoint), accounting software, and databases;
· Strong verbal and written communication skills;
· Ability to perform multi-task under pressure and meet deadlines required;
· High attention to detail and accuracy;
· Ability to direct and supervise;
· Must be flexible, dynamic, tech-savvy, and willing to be trained.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Php20,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
