MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Inspect facilities, machinery and safety equipment in identifying potential hazards and ensuring compliance with the Act or any regulations.
2. Identify, investigate and report on root causes for incidents and accidents.
3. Assist the company or S.H.E committee to organize and implement occupational safety & health and environmental programmes at the place of work. To become secretary to the S.H.E committee and perform its functions.
4. Collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning/disease, near-miss and incident causing environment pollution which have occurs at the place of work.
5. Liaise with government agencies on matters related to DOSH, DOE and BOMBA.
6. Establish and implement the S.H.E related procedures and processes.
7. Prepare Legal Register for the sites.
8. Other duties and responsibilities assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Possesses minimum 3 years of S.H.E management experience in related field.
2. Possesses at least a professional certificate or post graduate diploma in Safety/ Health/ Environment or equivalent.
3. Possesses a Safety & Health Certificate from National of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) or equivalent and must be a competent Safety & Health Officer registered with Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH).
4. Computer literate, good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Well versed with the Occupational Safety & Health Act, Factories & Machinery Act, Environmental Quality Act and relevant laws.
6. Participate in the development of S.H.E related training material necessary for employee and supervisor.

Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
