Within GBS we have over 100 SAP professionals working within our SAP COE’s who play an integral role in supporting our global businesses on integration of acquisitions, systems support for strategic process-related initiatives, as well as ongoing systems and process innovations. We operate a single Global SAP ECC instance, and are currently planning for a migration project to S4 HANA in 2022.
The Role:
A vacancy has arisen within GBS for the role of SAP SCM WM/IM Business Analyst. This position sits within the Global SCM Systems COE team and reports into the Lead Business Analyst, SCM Inventory Management & Logistics.
Glanbia offer flexible bended working arrangements incorporating the optimum blend of remote and office-based working, tailored for individual’s circumstances. This role can be based out of our offices in Kilkenny, or Citywest Dublin.
Key deliverables of the role
Participate in multiple (and sometimes concurrent) implementation and continuous improvement SAP projects, including working on such activities as:
Definition of SAP WM/IM scope, based on workshops with business representatives, and knowledge of Glanbia’s Global SAP WM/IM solution.
Definition of SAP WM/IM blueprint based on workshops with business representatives.
SAP WM/IM build activities including configuration, investigation of enhancement points, and integrations, and writing techno-functional programming specifications, unit testing etc.
SAP WM/IM testing cycles, and training material preparation.
Cut-over planning and execution for the WM/IM area and providing initial high-attention post-live support.
Hand-over of SAP WM/IM design to application support team, post project.
Design, develop and deliver enhancements in relation to specified mini-projects and change requests in the SAP IM/WM area.
Develop and enhance SAP WM/IM Power User capabilities, through the design and delivery of targeted Webinars and Process reviews.
Provide assistance to the Application Support team in the resolution of complex support calls escalated by them.
Qualifications and experience:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain or related discipline.
Ideally SAP Certified in WM module for ERP 6.0.
Three years’ experience in hands-on configuration and implementation roles within the SAP WM/IM module.
