Position Overview:
The AI Ops Engineer is a hybrid role that combines the skills of a designer and an engineer to create and implement conversational AI systems. This role involves designing engaging and intuitive conversational experiences, as well as developing and deploying the underlying technology that powers them. The AI Ops Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, design conversation flows, config & develop CAI, and ensure seamless integration with various platforms and channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Conversation Design:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the goals and objectives of the conversational AI system.
- Design conversation flows, user journeys, and dialogue structures to deliver effective and engaging user experiences.
- Create and maintain persona profiles for conversational agents, ensuring a consistent and appropriate tone.
Conversational AI Development:
- Develop conversational AI systems and applications using Mind Expression
- Integrate conversational AI systems with backend services, APIs, and databases for seamless data exchange and system interactions.
- Deploy conversational agents on various platforms and channels, such as websites, messaging applications, or voice assistants.
- Design and develop the human logic and decision-making algorithms for the Conversational AI system.
- Create conversation flows with decision logic that align with human logic intelligence principles.
User Experience (UX) Alignment:
- Incorporate user-centered design principles, considering user expectations, mental models, and conversational best practices.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data analysis to continually improve the conversational experience.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, developers, and scientists, to align on project requirements and deliverables.
- Effectively communicate design concepts, technical considerations, and implementation details to stakeholders and development teams.
- Provide guidance and support to developers during the implementation phase to ensure accurate execution of the conversation design and AI development.
Maintenance:
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing procedures for equipment, systems, and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including test results, inspection reports, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in conversational design, AI development, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of conversational AI technologies and dialogue management.
- Proficiency in designing conversation flows, user journeys, and dialogue structures.
- Familiarity with NLU techniques, intent recognition, and entity extraction.
- Experience with programming languages, frameworks, and tools used in AI development, such as Python, Smalltalk or Java are a plus.
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written English/Thai communication skills are required.
