Job Description


You drive and set the regional omni commercial and customer agenda together with China Brand Hub, based on the global plan.

You are accountable for omni strategies and targets and driving total omni strategy development. You work towards aligned and cross-functional goals, driving omni sales performance and customer centricity in all parts of your work.

You support Sales markets in driving your regional concept strategy

Maximize profitable net sales and customer base for your region – short and long term.

  • Accountable for net sales for your Customer concept in the region – ensure full understanding of your regional sales situation through sales and customer behaviour analysis
  • Drive concept strategy and commercial priorities towards sales markets
  • Coordinate the quantified Omni goal setting process for your Customer Group and align with the regional growth playbook direction, in collaboration with BU
  • Identify need for short and long-term actions to increase selling based on relevant analysis, ensure relevant actions are taken, and do follow up on said actions
  • Identify opportunities, threats and set priorities for the region based on biggest sales/customer impact.
  • Cooperate with other regions and supply chain to develop method for sales and planning
  • Store specific: Together with the Store Portfolio Merchandise Manager, set strategy leading to healthy and modern store portfolio for your Customer Group
  • Store specific: Together with Regional HoM/Commercial Merchandise Manager and Head of Omni Demand & Supply and Inventory Optimization, align on stock management strategy which provides best customer service and optimize availability for your Customer group in physical store.

Know your customers – manage, set and execute the regional commercial plan to give the customers what they want and sell our products and assortment in best possible way

  • Know and understand regional customer behaviour and expectations to drive customer base growth
  • Set regional omni customer and commercial plans for you concept together with counterparts based on the overall commercial plan for the company and Brand Hub
  • Provide constant and structured sales follow up & customer base analyses - align learnings between channels.
  • Collaborate in regional decisions when it comes to customer demand vs pushing assortment, finding the right balance between product and customer activation
  • Set strategy for assortment exposure in media channels in collaboration with Marketing to optimize stock performance, reductions and customer experience.
  • Conduct benchmarking from both product and commercial aspects - know the region and customer’s needs, conduct competitor overview and analysis
  • Store specific: Visit stores on regular basis together with Sales Markets Merchandise Specialist

Assortment and stock management from a planning, buying and executional perspective

  • Give input on prices, quantities, income per period and assortment width through fast, frequent and focused feedbacks to the BU and Brand Hub
  • Manage regional product lifecycle
  • Plan, manage and follow up sales, stock and reduction levels in your region
  • Secure impact in stores and online, and drive in season stock management by matching the store and online stock levels with the regional sales drivers
  • Prioritise between product agenda and customer agenda
  • Set in-season prices
  • Set reduction and SALE plans for your concept (including product, price and timing of reduction), together with the Commercial team, Regional HoM/Commercial Merchandise Manager and Head of Omni Demand & Supply and Inventory Optimisation

You develop omni customer knowledge within Region and support your Sales markets in executing regional Customer group strategy

  • You are accountable for omni strategies and goals and driving total omni strategy development
  • Lift and share best practices and learnings between Sales markets and with merchandising team
  • Support SM Merchandise Specialist in executing on regional assortment strategy and commercial agenda.
  • Support Sales market’s Merchandise Managers with actions to create stock freshness
  • Enable local relevance and develop commercial plan for your Customer group by gathering frequent feedback.
  • Support global functions by providing market knowledge and sharing local initiatives.

Qualifications


Education and Experience requirements

  • University Degree, preferably in Business, Economics/Finance or similar

Knowledge and Skill requirements

  • +2 years of experience within merchandising, assortment office, controlling function or similar
  • Meriting:
  • Omni retail knowledge
  • Product category management
  • Planning, buying, stock- and product lifecycle-management
  • Understand how to collaborate cross functionally within Region, with BU and central function to achieve results
  • Understanding of supply chain and garment flow complexity
  • Knowledge about operational best practices and routines for physical store
  • Knowledge about merchandising systems, tools, methods
  • Experience in building commercial plan which optimize potential of both channels
